Help, I’m going to turn ?0 in may & I’m not ready! What is a good anti wrinkle cream for around the eyes? I’m starting to get a few "smile lines". :-/

I think it was Anita Roddick of Body shop who said something like

"If you keep moving fast enough no-one can see the lines."

I turned a higher ?0 in January and it’s getting harder to keep moving let alone moving fast.

Sorry, can’t help with the cream but at least ‘smile lines’ are better then ‘frown lines’.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

on a more serious note Triff. The best way to have great looking skin is to drink enough water, not smoke, not drink too much alcohol, and not get sunburnt. Eat a balanced diet and enjoy life! Anything else is just overkill.

I don’t drink or smoke or get sunburnt, but my next birthday has a zero on the end so maybe it’s time to start preventative measures. But basically, I’m not ready to turn *#!

Having turned ?0 and not quite able to believe it – I agree with the advice already posted, of course, but in answer to your question, as a one time beauty therapist – ROC skin care is excellent and is available in pharmacies in Crete. But the best stand-by when all else fails is Clarins Beauty Flash – get mine from the airport shop in England – for those days/evenings when you want to look radiant but feel exhausted. The other ‘secret’ of the stars is to use Preparation H (yes preparation H) for bags, wrinkles round the eyes when you need a quick pick-up. (Don’t tell anyone I told you!) Shallow, I know…and not improving internal ‘radiance’ but sometimes we girls do need a little extra help. Don’t use it all the time though – for emergencies only.
