Thanks for the advice about the van and sorry to hear what happened to your German friends. We have looked into this and we are still confused as to whether we can take our van on a years visa. More investigation needed I feel as we do not want to have to break it for parts. Do you know if we can apply for a years visa on a year by year basis and do you know what issues your friends had selling their property? We have seen properties for sale on Right Move for quite a long time in Greece.
