If you are going to a beach that seems deserted check with the local taverna or beach bar how safe the beach / sea is that day, unless you recognise the flag colours yourself.
If the beach is deserted do not assume that the flags have been updated!
I also fail to see the relevance of mentioning lifeguards. People need to take responsibility for their own and their childrens safety and not rely on total strangers to save them.
With the ongoing situation in Ukraine and the huge increase in Russian comment spam & false site registrations currently running at 250-500 every day. All of which have to be manually removed, we have taken the decision to suspend site registration for the current time.
Please accept our apolgies for this and we aim to re-open registration as soon as possible.
