Across #Greece disruptions again on Tue May 16 and Weds 17th. The Panhellenic Seamen’s Association (PNO) is at it again to ram home their message the government is not taking care of them in the massive re-organisation of labour contracts, conditions, salaries and retirement. Ferries and Cruise ships are all affected, if Greek owned.

In particular, Minoan Lines’ one of the larger companies says that sailings on the 16th Heraklion – Piraeus – Heraklion route will be cancelled. On Weds May 17 vessels may well operate with the caution they will leave when the Seamen say so…..

As for the #Adriatic Line Minoan Lines’ itineraries will be amended as follows:

On 16th, Greece to Italy sailings (Cruise Europa ship) – cancelled on the Patras – Igoumenitsa – Ancona

On 17th, Patras – Igoumenitsa – Ancona will depart Patras at special time of 23:59 for Ancona but stays in Igoumenitsa until 6am on Thurs morning when it leaves for Ancona.

On Friday 19th Patras will be omitted as the starting port for the regular sailing for Igoumenitsa – Ancona. Instead the ferry will leave Igoumenitsa at 23:00 to Ancona.

Minoan Lines’ sailing changes on the Venice – Ancona – Igoumenitsa – Patras route apply as follows:

On 17th, Cruise Olympia vessel, normal time for sailing at 01:00 (local time), from Ancona at 14:00 (local time) and will reach Patras via Igoumenitsa.

On Thurs 18th, Ancona – Igoumenitsa – Patras
Cruise Europa vessel will sail from Ancona at 23:59 to reach Igoumenitsa on Friday, 19.05.2017 at 16:00. It will not sail on to Patras.

On Saturday, May 20 sailings are back to normal.
