How do I set the room temp on my air con unit and how do I get it to knock off when cool enough.
At the moment I’m using it on manual and have it set at 20c.
And what fan do I run it on for best results, 4 settings on the fan..At night I want to set it to come in and go off on it’s own..I don’t have an automatic button on my remote control. The model is…Haier…
        THANKS

Wow…you are likely to have a pretty hefty electricity bill running it at 20! Usually have mine set at 25, on auto! On the Sharp we have, the cooling part cuts off when down to temp, but the fan stays om, with the cooling cutting in and out when necessary!

As predicted my Daiken air con system stopped working at the hottest time of the year and it had to happen when my two Aberdeen residing sisters are here on holiday. I considered calling Tony but distance and time put pay to that idea. Managed to find a really good local guy here in Chania and he fixed the system within an hour or so. Apparently one of our many power cuts had confused the main motherboard and it had to be reset. €50 for his time and expertise seemed like a good price to me.

good price jon all motherboards have a 1/2/3 amp fuse on them depends size of unit,so when u get surges or powercuts the small fuse pops so it doesnt damamge the panel ,but there normally a pig to get 2 still nice price about right glad things worked out for u.
