I’m really glad that you asked this question. Several weeks ago I read a post and noticed that the person was from my area. However when I read it again there was no mention of the location !. I was totally baffled and came to the conclusion that I was probably ‘losing it’.
I read your post before logging and your location was there, after logging in it HAD vanished.
Many thanks for solving the mystery, although I suppose it’s still a mystery as to why it happens.
Perhaps it is the way you have set up your Profile information? I say perhaps …. try this..
Go to your Profile by logging in to your account. I mean logging in.. see the button that says "log in" and not "update session". You must always log in and log out on your visits to BiC for your own security.
Click on Log-In.
Upon successful entering the site find the USER CP button (User Control Panel). Click on it.
Click on "Profile".
Click on "Options".
At botton of list of things you can do .. find
"View Location" You have choice to tick one or both boxes "flag" or "text".
See if that does the trick first.
I do not have any other admin settings for display of location other than what a member wants to do.

But if I log on, I do not see it?
Would solve the puzzle to me, when people might ask a member in a posting where are the located, when it shows if one does not log on!
Oddly now if I go in as a visitor, I do not see people’ location.
As I Followed the advice by Admin, I do see when I sign in!!! all rather odd that I no longer see when I go in as visitor, when I did previously, must be in need of some of that Raki, that Binx mentions as medicine
