Five UK property funds with assets over £15 billion in funds have frozen redemptions. Another, Aberdeen Fund Managers Ltd. cut the value of a property fund by 17 percent (clear devaluation). If Sterling is down 10 percent then anyone invested in the Aberdeen Fund see their asset base drop 27%.

That is the value of the Brexit vote and democracy at work. Not a pretty picture. It is the big money that keeps the salary workers employed. Sorry people but this is the price to be paid for the Brexit decision. Until such time as some of the properties that comprise the assets of the funds can be sold to enable redemptions by investors the situation will likely deteriorate and spread (common sense). It has to be said that most of these funds are in commercial property but how will such conditions affect the home property market across the country? You’ll see – the price you will have to pay

And how exactly will a drop in commercial property funds affect the average man in the street? If it results in lower house prices then it may give a chance for our youngsters to actually have the opportunity to purchase property! The pound has fallen, great news for exporters and still way above what it was not all that long ago. The FTSE 100 is way above pre Brexit levels, great news for your investors and pension providers.
We are out of Europe and all the doom-mongering and collective grieving is not going to change anything. You will be asking Iceland for a rematch next because you weren’t happy with the result.

The remainers will constantly find doom and gloom to fill the media (paid by the EU of course to say the "right" things) on a daily basis now but it won’t shift my view no matter what the hardships are up ahead and let’s face it as Fireman Sam says, it doesn’t affect the man on the street, just the bleeting big boys with obscene amounts of shares in companies and beyond who see their millions dwindling on the stock market – they are the ones panicking not the ordinary "little people", mainly because they’ve got all our money, so we haven’t got any to worry about.

The referendum was JUST a referendum. It has no legal status, so you can’t blame either side for what is happening.

Whatever happens now can be blamed directly on Cameron who could simply have said "very interesting, but I’m going to ignore it. It’s business as usual", just as Tsipras did.

Why didn’t he say that? Think about it. He was resigning anyway so it would have made no difference. My belief is that he’s under pressure to make the people suffer. Someone’s holding a gun to his head. And he probably wants to assure his position as an MEP. Britain is to be made an example, just like Greece.

And this EU anti-democratic blackmail is precisely why so many voted to leave.

To get a leave referendum from the UK population and then to rescind it would cause a bloodbath, no matter whether it was a legal referendum or otherwise. I can’t believe that people are even discussing getting the decision reversed! No better is the talk now of a second referendum in Scotland – do they just keep having them until they get the right answer, the one that suits their twisted agenda’s? It beggars belief, given what happened during the Greek crisis – I just can’t wait for the day when the next country has a referendum and the next until the EU gets what it deserves- implosion!

But the Greeks didn’t fight it and I doubt the Brits will.

However, the way I see it panning out is that there will be delay after delay until it is finally announced that it is impossible to leave OR they’ll settle for some sort of "Norwegian compromise" whereby the UK is officially out but still has to accept all the regulations and mushroom management from the EU. Either way, you can be sure that the punishment will be severe. There will be more weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.

not one of the Brexit leaders is around now ,
they all lit the blue touch paper and then ran away, who will be accountable now?
I repeat it is a total shambles :'(

So what your saying is the vote will be ignored and do you really believe other countries won’t follow UK’s vote?
