Can anyone help me check the property area shown on my electricity bill? Periodically, I try to check the area using the information in my building permit. I do not get close.

I did my calculation as follows:
        1) As I have a stone house I used net internal floor area (someone told me this was correct for stone villas – right?) but even using gross external areas does not work.
        2) I included upstairs and downstairs of course.
        3) I included the balconies and the porch (which has a tiled roof and a light).

The answers all come well short of the figure on my electricity bill!

Around some of the sides of the house there are tiled patios and there are some outside lights. Should this be included?

Can anyone tell me where to go to try to get this resolved? I am in the Apokoronus area.

        Thanks :)

the square meterage of your property is shown on the contract which you were given when you bought the house , also you should have a topograph/plan with all details.

Latsida is correct and this will be the only documents that the electricity board will be interested in – nothing else counts in their book!

Hi, thanks for the input. I have looked at all the documents. My area certainly does not appear as a single figure and no matter how I add the various bits, I can’t get the to figure on my electricity bill. I can only assume it is wrong – and too high! Does anyone know where I go to try to sort it out – KEP in Vryesses? :)
