I’ve just tried it for the 1st time and it works for me, no VPN enabled and not signed in.
Have you tried another browser, and is your Flash version up to date, does iPlayer work for you?

Edit: I’ve just got an on screen message after about 5 minutes asking me to login / register.

Edit Edit: Had HD selected by mistake – Doh!!!

Right , something is wrong here . Ive been using Filmon for a while with no problems at all both on my main standalone computer and my ipad 2. As I say no problems. Everyone Ive spoken to recently got it and it was all fine . last week a few friends told me they couldn’t find the UK channel list . I got home tried on both my computer and Ipad , no UK channels. Ive tried joining logging etc. , the same no UK channels. After I spoke with my son in the UK yesterday and he had the UK channels list I tried it with a VPN . Bingo I got the UK channel list and watched BBC last night . Just got back from a boot fair where everyone I know who had Filmon all said they cannot get the UK channel list . Can anyone throw any light on this because I can’t understand why a few here in Crete are getting it without a VPN and others cant ?? baffled

Bit of a long shot, what OS is everyone using, I’m on XP pro – works fine.

Edit: Just tried it on my laptop and just got the whirly logo, noticed my VPN (Expatshield) was turned on, as soon as I turned it off it worked.

OK, in my case the problem is Internet Explorer. Tried Firefox and Chrome, they both work fine.

I have IE7. For reasons I won’t bore you with, I cannot upgrade it.

So that is the problem. But if I can’t get iPlayer, it’s no use to me anyway. I’ll just stick with UK TVPLUS.

Well someone earlier in this thread said Filmon does not offer iPlayer, or maybe I misunderstood. Does it have iPlayer or not? I can’t find it.

Well, obviously I can do that if I have a VPN or proxy connection of some sort and that is what I do. Or are you talking about the forthcoming launch of iPlayer on BBC Worldwide? Is that going to offer the full iPlayer schedule though or just "selected programmes"?

The thread was about using Filmon, and I asked if it does iPlayer otherwise there is no point me switching.  Apparently it does not?

                                            Techy stuff… too much stress.

Excuse me but if everyone is missing so many Brit TV channels , why are you here ??

I am not being facitious or offensive in any way , but didn`t we all come here to adapt to another life and culture, to try to understand a different way of life ?

Personally I loved the Greek channels when we could get them, we do not get them in my area unless we pay for them, but we still pay for them through a bill, but arguing until blue in the face is a waste of time.

I will not pay twice for channels I should recieve anyway.

Not all people want to live the way you do Binx, not all people want to be Cretan like you do, myself and many others love our sky tv and why not. It was never on my mind to ever live like a Cretan or to live their way of life.
I don’t care for the food as much, I like English food, we buy more English food if we can get it, I hate olives and I hate the sliced bread in the shops, it’s too sweet for my taste, but who am I to tell others not to buy it.
We spend Summers in Crete and the Winter in the UK.
I spend a couple of hundred quid on tin foods that I like that I can’t get there and I have them sent over.
I love my full English every morning and why not, some evenings I’ll make an Indian curry if there is a match on Sky, love my English football. So you might ask why I’m there, and the answer is I want to be there and want to live the way I want to live.

Nice one Del Boy . I too love my Sky TV , UK channels , full English etc etc . Nothing better than a chippy tea whilst watching English premier league Football. I like it , Ive lived in many counties all over the world and funny enough still like British things. Doesnt mean to say im not allowed to live any where I want .. and Binx, I dont critisise anyone for living the way they want. I like it here so I live here ….. But I am and always be English !!!!

Well Binx, if you have adapted so well to Greek life you should be down at the local taverna every night staring at the 42 inch screen that is blaring out football or some ghastly Greek reality show with all your Greek chums.

If someone does not speak good Greek, as you presumably do, why should they have to do without any kind of TV? I wasn’t aware that giving up UK TV was a condition of emigrating to Greece.
