Friday the 13th – Blame bad luck on the Greeks!

So its been Friday the 13th. How’s your day been?

This is a little tradition we can put down to the Greeks in their infinite wisdom, to the Norsemen and some other influences.

More on the history and significance of Friday the Thirteenth at our Dekatriaphobia page.

If you are in Greece, ponder this, we can put ‘Friday the 13th’ all on their shoulders! Link at bottom will help you understand more.

Usually today, Friday, the 13th day of the month is lucky for me.

This may seem an odd situation but it is true, contrary to the way we in Britain view this day.

                How is your day going?

Perhaps you had even overlooked this date anyway?

Hope your day is going as well as mine.

And today is a brighter day, with blue skies and light patchy cloud. This is better than it has been for 2 weeks now.
