The Georgioupoli Butcher, currently opposite “Sinatras” bar (which has closed, I understand, due to health problems) will move to the building that was “Non Stop” (yes, it stopped) on the other side of the square.
And for those unfamiliar with the town, there’s an Irish Bar called “McGinty’s” where you can be sure of a warm welcome, Guiness and, quite often, live music. It’s the green building at the “Y” junction as you walk from the square (pedestrian) towards the National Road or Kournás.
And, for a really outstanding English breakfast (why else would you visit Greece?) try Stelios Café Bar next to “Sinatras”.
In my opinion, the best and cheapest ice cream is available at the pattiserie next to the fuel station on the road towards Kournás. It’s made with sheep’s milk (but you wouldn’t know if I hadn’t told you).
