        Hi,i have read that you need to have an income large enough
        to support yourself ,so that you can become a resident in crete .I am planning to retire soon,doe’s anyone know what income is needed to meet the "rules".

                To get your residents permit you may need to prove you have Health cover (not EHIC card).
                we were told at the police station that we may need to show bank statements but they were not asked for when we renewed our permits last year.
