Does anyone know of a local or expat (in the Chania area) who has experience in troubleshooting a problem with electric gates?  I’ve been asking around and it seems an ordinary electrician balks at taking on the motherboard, electronics etc. involved with these pesky items.

Fortunately, I still have use of a remote control i.e. my wife but she’s beginning to tire of her new duties.

Any help would be much appreciated, if not by me, definitely by her!!

Many thanks to Nik Perkins (Right Hand Man) for coming to my rescue re the Electric Gate problem.  He turned up this afternoon with a specialist gate electrician (Panos) who eventually found the problem, resolved it and then only charged me €30 for 2+ hours of his time.

Because the electrician spoke little English and my Greek is on a similar level, Nik came along too and translated.

            Excellent service.
