Hi, my wife and I are intending to move to Crete early next year. I have read all the advise about importing cars to Crete / Greece, do the same problems arise when trying to re-register a motorcycle shipped from England.
I would prefer to keep it rather than having to sell it and buy another one.
It will be 3 1/2 years old and I have owned it from new if that is of any importance.
        Any advise kindly accepted.

            Hello Peebee
            Welcome to the Forum.
I am sure you have viewed the motor cycle/moped link at page top, right … but in principal the same conditions apply to bringing a motorbike over to Greece as for a car. It is all to do with the government’s taxation policies.

The Greek Embassy website in UK at
http://www.greekembassy.org has additional informational stuff on the subject ..

            Hope that helps.
