        Hi All
My wife and I are travelling to Crete in Oct 2016 for 10 days to explore the Chania prefecture and initially will want to rent for 12 months from Jan 2017.
If anyone knows of a suitable property at reasonable rates it would be good to hear from you. Looking for a 2 bedroom house ideally with private pool. We will also have our new dog that we rescued from Crete in July. We will be looking at renting from Jan 2017.
        Thank you.

Anyone aware of any suitable rental properties as described?
            Thank you.

I recommend you contact Property Management companies such as Moonspinners and IPM Crete. They will know if any of their clients have vacancies.

                http://ipmcrete.com/
                ipmcrete{a}otenet.gr

                Replace the {a}.

You could also possibly ask on the Facebook page:

                (Apostrophes optional.)

Note that a pool makes a property hugely more expensive to rent because of additional taxes and maintenance costs. Bearing in mind that it’s only really usable for 5 months in a year, it might be something you could live without. A jacuzzi might do?
