Hi Brits in Crete admin I hope this is the correct forum to post this.

If you are of my age you will remember with affection the Pirate Radio Stations broadcasting from the North Sea. The Ross Revenge was once the proud home of Radio Caroline broadcasting to Europe from the North sea. The ship now languishes in the back of beyond in the Tilbury Docks. A local councillor and others have an on-line petition to get it moved to a more prominent position to allow people to visit this once mighty vessel. A vessel with a fantastic history as a pirate radio ship and an Icelandic trawler.

Please help the Ross Revenge by signing their petition.

It is a great idea and a worthy cause.

As someone closely connected to radio for many years around the world, I can remember like many of my generation as a teenager listening in my cold bedroom in London to Radio Caroline.

I have signed the petition too. The ship should be saved and turned into museum piece.
