If any one has any reductil tablets that are surplus to requirement or knows a reliable website page where I can buy some please let me. These tablets are no longer available to buy here from the Pharmacy. If you would like to call me, no problem 6932 973642. Many thanks in advance.

I assume you are aware that reductil has been withdrawn in Europe, including UK and elsewhere US, NZ , Australia – as causing ‘non-fatal’ heart attacks and strokes…

yes, that’s why it’s difficult to find. I assume that you have read all the medical information and statistics regarding those possibly related incidents.

Neurosearch is suggesting that a second compliant drug is needed but that is still about 2 years off.

Certainly the drug has shown to cause weight loss but it has also revealed ‘minor’ heart issues and also the latest in Lancet suggests ‘promoted’ alzheimer’s. However that is yet to be proven via tests long-term.

All I would say is that at the end of the day Reductil promoted dieting and exercise. So I would seek a GP’s advice first.
