It’s about two weeks now since the four of us were left at the side of the road in Vamos. We were so scared and small that we hid in the wall. When we got very very hungry, spot, our brave brother, sat at the side of the road for a long time but no one stopped. We called for our mother but she must be far away as she never comes.
When the lady found us we were starving and she brought us some food.
We like the lady and when she comes we run to greet her, we run to see other people too but the lady doesn’t like this as she says we are going to get run over. We just want to play. Tabby is the best at playing he likes to box with the grass.
When the lady comes we sit on her shoes and it makes her smile. We are very friendly and try the best we can to make the lady take us to her house but she says we can’t as she is going on an airplane soon, whatever that is. Stripe is the best at running and when the lady leaves us he runs after her as fast as he can.
It’s getting cold at nights now so we snuggle to keep warm. The lady says that some cats have a cosy bed but we don’t know about that as we live in the bottom of the hedge now.
We are well but the lady says we are going to the vets this week. She wants to try and find somewhere for us to live and this might help, she has asked everyone she knows but no one can take us in.
The lady calls me Blackie. I think the lady likes me the best as I get the most cuddles which makes me purr, I think it is because I am black all over and have big blue eyes.
The lady is very worried because we are not big enough to fend for ourselves yet, there is no one else who feeds us and when the lady leaves we will likely starve. So she has written this storey in the hope that another lady or man who likes kittens will find room at their house for us.
Thank you for reading our storey, if you can help us please ring or pm the lady. 282502284917th October 2014 at 1:09 pm #46851
When the lady came today I didn’t run and greet her I hid in the wall. Not because I was going to the vet but because in the night something happened….now there is only me little blackie.
I am a brave boy, I didn’t cry in the car and the lady sat me on her knee and I purred and purred…the vet says I am a pretty boy and quite strong for my age which he says is about 5 weeks, I prefer to say I am handsome. He treated me…which was odd as I thought treats were nice things you ate, but he put something wet on my neck that will keep me well.
The vet says I am too small to be living in a hedge bottom so the lady is unashamedly writing stories and trying everything she can to find me somewhere to live. I am at the lady’s house now in a cat carrier, it is better than the hedge as I have a soft thing called a blanket and a thing called a toy…anyone know what I am supposed to do with that?
I would like to stay with the lady and she would love to keep me but she is going back to England next week so if there is any kind person out there who like a little black bundle of fun and fluff I am the candidate! Please please ring her on 2825022849 if you can help….19th October 2014 at 5:15 am #47016

Wonderful "tail". Unfortunately, our monster cat "Fatso" would eat it for breakfast – he’s very protective of his territory. Sorry we can’t help.20th October 2014 at 1:09 pm #47206
Yesterday was a good day! First of all I learnt to jump! Jumping is great fun and because I am also good at climbing (after all I did used to live in a wall) I think I want to be a mountaineer. I was just practising on the lady’s stairs (jump up, climb down) when another English lady rang on that thing they call a telephone.
Today when I got up the lady put me in my cat carrier and said I was going to a place called Malia where a new mum and dad were waiting for me. I was good in the car, after all my carrier is five star, a bed, refreshment bar and even en suite which is just as well as it is a long way to that place which now will be my forever home.
My new mum and dad have already some cats for me to make friends with and there are lots of food bowls full up with lovely things for me to get fat on. Yum yum…
The lady says that I am a lucky black cat and have won the lottery with my new lovely caring home. My new mum says I will have to stay in for two weeks, but that’s ok, there is lots to explore, I think I saw some stairs on the way in so I will have to check them out.
They tell me I am a celebrity and have been on the internet – I don’t know about that, as I said I just want to be a mountaineer or I might be a sprinter as I like to chase people’s feet! I have learnt all these new skills since the vet made me feel better with that wet stuff on my neck and the lady gave me regular meals (that cooked chicken is smashing).
The lady would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the people who helped her – you know who you are – it was very much appreciated. Special thanks my new mum and dad who not only saved the day, bit literally saved me……
So a happy end to a kitten tail…..
Ps my new name is Soots.
