        Hello everyone,

I am searching for someone who can spend some time with my daughter to make conversation and read stories so that she keeps her English speaking/listening skills. :bye:

We are in Chania but can come up to Almyrida (kalyves included) for my 4-year old  daughter to spend one hour (one session or two per week) with a British person so that she doesn’t forget her English. If you are happy to “babysit” (early years education experience would be a plus) please let me know.

She currently attends a Greek nursery in Mournies but will start reception in September in England.

        Kind regards,

            Hello Jane_in_Crete

I wish you well in finding help with your daughter to keep her English skills and her fluency up to scratch.

It is around the 4-5 years of age period when I understand that youngsters are most receptive to cementing their multi-language abilities.

All the best too during this period of concern over the coronavirus.

Thank you for visiting us at this forum.

            Keep safe and healthy.
