Aperanto Galazio a newly built Taverna in ([ch929][ch927][ch916][ch921][ch913]) Rodgia (tel 6973 743028).   all furniture new with super views of Heraklion.  Greek food quality top, prices not cheap, but not expensive, if you know anyone who wants to go anywhere a bit special.  We did not drink wine, so no idea of those prices. Either smart casual or dress up.  the 1st floor is where you get the best views.  They have a lift for those unable to make the stairs & also convenient when returning from the the lower ground fl, it goes to the 2nd floor roof, that is only for viewing, no tables/chairs.  Manolis is the owner & speaks English.   The free deserts were wonderful.  they give between 2 to 4 different choices, depending how many people.  The toilets are in the basement where there is also a small children’ play area.  Outside seating with water feature spread over several layers, but that is more for the summer.

Rodgia is by the crossroads of Amoudara, not direction of Amoudara, 1st street right up, a bit difficult to find, best to phone Manolis for directions or see a map.

Compare hotel prices and find the best deal -
