        The 2017 Remembrance Sunday Service
        Place: Souda Bay, Commonwealth War Graves Memorial Site, Chania, West Crete
        Date : Sunday 12th November 2017
        Time : The Service will commence at 10:45 AM. Please be seated by 10.40 .
        Anyone requiring poppies , they are on sale at various shops and stores throughout Crete . If you have not managed to obtain one , poppies will be available at the cemetery on Sunday prior to the service.

            Thank you yr posting is appreciated.
            I am so happy that the PC culture has not pushed onto any backburner the Poppy Day tradition. It is so important for those of us who truly believe that our forefathers fought and died so that we may live our lives as free men and women today continues as ever. Even the leftist BBC quietly without fanfare has all its main presenters wearing the Poppy.

            In fact, being the other end of the island, at the gardening club meeting yesterday our hostess with the mostest, Margaret had the poppies and the collection box readily at hand and many in attendance supported the cause. Every little counts.
