Man city champions and well done. Having said that, with the money spent and the depth and quality of the squad, I feel Mancini should have had it wrapped up a month earlier! I remember the days of Bell, Summerbee, Lee etc.. great team, and since then they have been lumbering about mid table. Disaster of a season for Man utd and Arsenal (only consolation is they get Champions league football next season). Spurs? even worse season than those two. Chelsea, won’t be happy with their league position but, won the FA cup and still have the Champions league final to come (I will be amazed if they win) so a good season for them over all. Liverpool, won the Carling cup and got to the FA cup final, although won’t be happy with their league finishing position. So for me, Man city, Chelsea and Liverpool have had the best season and shall look forward to the next! I would have picked Alan Pardew as manager of the season but because he didn’t win any silverware I will give my vote to De Matteo who took on the job at Chelsea under difficult circumstances.

The final moments yesterday afternoon were breathtaking!

Sad to see two clubs from the NW in the drop, I reckon Bolton could well be straight back up but Rovers and Wolves I fear are both Championshp bound for a few seasons.

Glad to see City win just to see a fresh name on the trophy. Whatever the outcome of the Champions league Final Chelsea will not be content with their position and being so many points adrift of the top two. Arsenal have made it into the Champoins League despite a mediochre season for the 15th consequitive year, no mean feat.

Rednapp has only himself to blame for Spurs drop in form. He hung himself out for the England job and it’s no good bleating about it now. Pardew has done a great job at newcastle and deserves his accolade, but the test will be can he stay up there next season? I’m not quite so sure he will manage that.

Got to mention my team, Everton. After our now usual poor start we finished strong again and I think in what should be regarded as a good position. Moyes has done another fantastic job with the limited resources available to him. Just a shame we let Liverpool back into the semi final game the way we did, but at the end of the day I think we would have struggled to beat Chelsea in the final (again).

Liverpool? Can’t go wothout a mention of our close neighbours. One pot in the cabinet OK, but not really a lot to shout about. A clearout during the close season? I think so in the front and back of house!

Roll on August when we can all start again.

A football team exists purely to win silverware which we did, and could of had two cups so I am not too disheartened, and yes there will be 2 or 3 players going but nothing drastic. Big mistake by Wolves sacking McCarthy. I too can’t see Newcastle repeating their season.

Dogleish sacked!! Hurray! Now liverpool can get someone who knows what they are doing. It’s been a nice earner for him!! Shame he’s wasted so much money and made a dog’s dinner out of running the team!

                            Scooby……………..nothing drastic?

Who do you see Liverpool being able to attract? I think they will struggle with a ‘name’ and whoever they appoint will be unexperienced at this level. A big risk!

Calm down stu. Don’t keep worrying about Liverpool fc mate, people come people go but no one will ever be bigger than the club and we will carry on regardless. How do you know that the next manager will be inexperienced? crystal ball? clutching at straws? We will wait and see as it’s no good worrying about it.

They have signed Ken Dodd so he can use Kenny’s old top.

Instead of being obsessed with other teams, why don’t you talk about your own teams achievements this season?

Hello mate, we gave you a run for your money on the last day, I tell you what though, I honestly thought you had blown it, I said to my mate they are never going to get two goals now in 5 minutes, I was gutted mate but anyway, I’m glad it stayed in the City even though you had a bit of help from Joey Barton.
I don’t think scooby likes the idea of Ken Dodd as manager of Liverpool, I think I did tell him a while back that Kenny was going.
