My father is 80 and I was wondering if any over 80s or elders can anyone suggest a decent travel insurer. He is not an expat but will be visiting my home in Crete for a 3 week visit. He keeps pretty good health but does tick a couple of boxes health wise.
I will be grateful for any suggestions. Thank you

Here is a UK based company you might like to try, they are called Avanti travel care over 80s.
Free phone number from the UK is 0800 222 9141..I know of an elderly couple in their 80s who has just recently been on holiday for 2 weeks, if I can get hold of them I’ll let you know what they paid.

Just spoken with the elderly people concerned both aged 82.
Their insurance for 3 weeks cost £555 for both of them.
This was with Thomsons for a three week cruise and flights.
