Knowing how addicted many of us are to Youtube and Amazon services and Netflix, you should know the battle of the Internet giants has begun and we, the consumers are caught in the middle.

On Dec 5 Google announced it will disconnect from January 1, 2018 all its YouTube videos from Amazon’s Fire TV and Echo Show devices (unless some kind of agreement is reached beforehand – (unlikely?)).

So, #Google’s move is a salvo of retaliation for #Amazon’s refusal to sell some Google products that compete with Amazon gadgets like Google’s #Chromecast streaming device, a competitor to Fire TV.

This is an all out tussle between two of the world’s major technology companies out to dominate the market even further. It is open Internet warfare.

And, we the consumers are caught in the tussle for Internet dominance by those companies that offer us popular services.
