I have lived here in Malia fo 27 years with my Greek husband we have our own house so no rent, we have a couple of fields, so we have a lot of our own produce and our expenses are low compared to other people. Because of the work situation being very bad, now we have only 4-5 months work, it is very very hard making ends meet, many people, including my son and his girlfriend ,are finding that they have to leave here to have a better life…… remember the old saying, The other man’s grass is always greener…. stay where you are for now until things improve.. good luck

Any one can pay with a credit card with Easy jet, it doesn,t have to be the passenger. Also check out flights with OLympic airways, booking early you can sometimes get a return for 285 euros.

TinoBest picked end of Sept even October time. Dry them uncovered and the green husks will split and will be easy to clean. My husband, he,s greek, stores them in jars filled with salt water or you can roast them or eat them fresh.

Thanks for the info, of course all this means nothing to little old me… The looping message is gone now and after checking the leads, wires ect, the message now, when I try to connect is.. modem not connected to telephone line.
The sounds simple but we,ve tried every which way without success. also when the p.c. is connected to the phone line, without connecting, the phone doesn,t work!!! any more suggestions please… :-/ My brother-in-law has used his cable from his p.c. and the message is the same when we try to connect.;D There is a bar in Stalis area called Bar Bliss, I,m sure they,d give you a job.
You need plenty of stamina for the late nights and it helps if you can add up the price of the drinks, otherwise as long as your not shy you,ll get a job no problem.

Tino:You,ll earn 18 euros per run, thats 36 e for the departure and arrival but bear in mind that you,ll probably only do two a week, maybe 3-4 working for various companies. The problem is they need the reps now….. in three weeks they would have hired everyone.
